Painting Pottery

Most of the bisque pottery in our studio is created by TDBA artists, mainly using the potter’s wheel!

The pieces you choose start off as one of a kind, and get even more special once you paint it!

Step 1. Find your table and pick your piece.

Step 2. Pick your colors & tools, then paint!

Step 3. Leave your piece with us for firing. Pick up in 5-7 days!

  • All ages (typically 4 year olds and up do best)
  • Walk-ins? Yes
  • Most pieces $10 – $40 (no studio fee!)

  • Click Reserve a Table to reserve your workspace.

Note:

  • If a piece is not picked up or painted within 30 days after pick-up ready notice, TDBA reserves the right to donate, sell, or repurpose the piece. Glazing offered up to 30 days from initial pick-up notice.

Check out our painting classes and workshops to spark ideas or sign up to be led by a TDB instructor!

  • We recommend wearing “messable” clothes – just in case! Glaze will wash out of clothes but acrylic paint does not.
  • Once your piece is glazed, it will need to be fired. Ready to pick up in about 7 days.
  • If a piece is not picked up or painted within 30 days after pick-up ready notice, TDBA reserves the right to donate, sell, or repurpose the piece. Glazing offered up to 30 days from initial pick-up notice.
  • TDBA does not store unfinished pieces (pieces that are not ready to be fired). Any piece left at the store will be fired, or you must take the unfinished piece home.
