Intermediate Pottery Wheel Class: 2 Hours – Let’s work on Taller, Collaring, Bellying

If you already have a taken a beginners pottery wheel and want more time and more instruction, this class will help you throw Taller objects (more clay), and Shapes (Collaring) and (Bellying).
Knowing how to center and the basics of pulling walls would help with this next level skill!
We’ll give you everything you need to make your pieces. Just come prepared — clothes you don’t mind getting messy (the clay will come out in the wash), close-toed shoes are best, pull back or tie up long hair, and keep the jewelry to a minimum (you’ll have to remove anything on your wrists or extra-long necklaces, and we suggest not wearing rings). (Be aware that the shorter your nails the easier it will be!)
After you’ve made your pieces, we’ll fire them. In 7-10 days after class your pieces will be ready for painting!
There is a time limit for painting, 30 days after they are fired. If you can’t make the time limit, we can clear glaze them and they will be the beautiful white natural clay color.
