Classes are on the following dates: April 3, 10, 17, and 30, 5:30pm-7:30pm all dates. This class is for ages 16+.
Try a new hobby, get reacquainted with clay-making, or join a friend in this 4-week pottery wheel class for beginners!
Our Pottery classes are step-by-step, led by an instructor the entire time. After this class, you’ll be ready to work on pottery all on your own – you’ll be exposed to the whole ceramic process.
We want you to get a solid grasp on the basics – the building blocks to all wheel-throwing.
Learn how to make bowls (wide pieces), cylinders / cups (tall pieces), plates (flat pieces), and how to make handles and attach them to make mugs. A whole dish set!
The class size is small (up to 4 students) so we can go through the class at your pace and give you 1 on 1 attention.
You won’t need to bring or buy anything for class – your ticket includes all the tools and clay you’ll need, and 4 fired pieces to keep (you can purchase more pieces to keep if you’d like to keep more).
All glazed pottery will be food safe, waterproof, and dishwasher safe (top rack)! Clear glaze is included for a beautiful natural clay finish.
This class is also great to repeat, or for those who would like a refresher to expand on the basics.
Call or text 440-879-8033 with questions or come into the studio to check it out! We look forward to creating with you!
Due to the nature of the class, we cannot offer make-ups or refunds for missed sessions. Please talk to your instructor about scheduling a self-guided practice session.
