Abstract Acrylic Painting Class, July 8 – Ages 16+, All skill levels

Ages 16+, acrylic canvas painting, 2.5 hours.

Welcome to the world of abstract painting! Join us in this class to create an abstract acrylic painting with a focus on color, shapes, and lines.

You will create a unique work of art! No two paintings will be the same — and that’s the point! Your instructor will be guiding the painting with prompts to help you fill out your canvas but it’s an anything-goes kind of painting.

We will not be creating from a reference, but rather from our hearts! It is helpful to have experience with acrylic paint and some basic knowledge of color, but not necessary. This class is welcome and open to all who wish to experiment and play to create something abstract — bring an open mind and your excitement to watch your artwork come to life!

Examples of what you might create:

**All supplies are included, but feel free to bring your own brushes if you’d like! WEAR PAINTING CLOTHES! Aprons will be provided but the paint can stain clothes.
