Beginner Pottery Wheel Class Friday’s 4-6pm

Classes are on the following dates: July 14, 21, 28 and August 8th from 4pm-6pm.

Do you have a desire to try the potter’s wheel, or want a new hobby? Have you taken ceramics in high school and wanted to try it again? Saw pottery videos on TikTok or YouTube and want to give it a try? Do you just want a new adventure?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this 4-week class is for you!

It’s designed to give you a chance to make pottery on the wheel in a step-by-step fashion while also getting exposed to the total ceramic process!
You’ll learn how to make bowls / wider pieces, cylinders / taller pieces, plates, and how to pull handles and attach them.

Since the classes are small, no more than 4 people, we can go through the class at your pace.

This class runs on the same day for 4 weeks in 2-hour sessions.

Includes clay, tools, and glazing of 4 finished pieces. If you have more than 4 pieces that you like to fire and glaze, we charge an additional $10.00 per piece per pound.

**Please note glazing is included but there is a time limit.  Come back and paint within 30 days of the end of the class or ask us to clear glaze it for you.

All Pottery will be food safe and dishwasher safe (top rack!)
