4-Week Pottery Wheel Beginner 1 – Thursdays Classes – Class begins

Always wanted to try, but never had the chance? Do you have a need to do something just for you? Ever want to feel the healing properties of clay? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this 4-week class is for you!

It’s designed to give you a chance to make pottery on the wheel in a step-by-step fashion while also getting exposed to the parts of the ceramic process, while taking advantage of the natural healing properties of clay!

If you’ve never tried it before or haven’t been on the wheel since High School or college, you will be among friends, as we go through each step. Since the classes are small, no more than 4 people, we can go through the class at your pace. Each week we try to make something different, so you get a chance to make a bowl, a cup with pulled handles, a plate, and a cylinder.

This class runs on the same day for 4 weeks in 2-hour sessions. If you can’t make a week, you can schedule a date to make it up.
Includes Clay, dedicated space for your pieces to dry and glazing of 5 finished 1lb pieces. If you have more than 5 pieces that you like to fire and glaze, the charge is an additional $10.00 per piece.
