Vase Pottery Wheel Class! August 27

Adults, August 27, 1.5 hours, pottery wheel.

Jump right into the fun with this vase-making class!

Vases are a more advanced throwing project, but in this class ANYONE can do it — it’s not as easy as it looks, but with an open mind (and our help) you too can have fun throwing a tall, shapely pottery piece!

You’ll have the preparation completed for you so all you have to focus on is pulling and shaping the walls – the fun part!

Along with your lesson, your ticket includes 1 2lb vase to keep. (Pick your best one, we try to make 2.) Your vase will be ready for glazing in 7-10 days after class.
There are different finishing options, so choose your ticket carefully!

All glazed pottery will be food safe and waterproof — meaning you can actually use it!

All supplies included, including clay and aprons.

Best preparation for class:

• Long hair secured back
• Wear “art clothes” (clothes that can get messy)
• Closed toe shoes
• The shorter your nails, the better
• Minimal jewelry; be prepared to take off rings and wrist jewelry/watches (no dangling bracelets or necklaces)

Due to the nature of this class we cannot offer refunds or make-ups for a missed session, or for arriving late.
