Juneteenth Flag and Collaborative Piece

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is celebrated annually in the United States on June 19th. We wanted to create a collaborative aft piece inspired by the flag of this important holiday. The flag was originally designed by Ben Haith who incorporated the American colors. The star in the middle pays homage to Texas while the red and blue represents a new freedom and a new people. The final design was later created by Lisa Jeanne Graf along with other artists.
