Join The Drawing Board Arts for our monthly gallery opening! This month, January, features Josh Sebrasky.

Josh Sebrasky is a local artist out of Lake County working and experimenting with different media while celebrating process and exploring systems and nature. Sebrasky says, “I’m a big proponent of process over product. Art doesn’t have to be imbued with meaning to be meaningful. A decent amount of what I make is just exploring process, technique or media. And the result is art without context. I also spend a lot of time thinking about systems — societal, scientific, interpersonal — so some of my art reflects what I understand or don’t understand about these. I’m also out in nature pretty often and try to capture the sublime I see there through art, and always fall short.”
