Clay Day – Teens

Teen Clay Days at TDBA is designed for teens ages 13-17 to make art with clay! Drop your teen (or yourself) off at our studio for an hour and a half of fun with our artist instructors! An instructor will be with you the entire time.
You’ll get a turn at the potter’s wheel to see what throwing clay is all about, and then we’ll spend the rest of the time making a hand-built clay project. We will fire the hand-built clay project in our kiln. Come back at your convenience to paint your project, or stay later after the Clay Day session is over to finish painting the same day! (Teens 13-14 will need adult supervision after the Clay Day session is over.)
Price: $35
Time: 1.5 hours
Project: Try throwing at the potter’s wheel & use 1.5 pounds of clay to hand build a Pinch Pot dog or other animal. Keep and paint your hand-built piece!
