Clay Day – Seniors

Senior Clay Days at TDBA is designed for adults ages 55+ to make art with clay! Come to the studio for two hours of fun with our artist instructors! An instructor will be with you the entire time.

You’ll get a turn at the potter’s wheel to see what throwing clay is all about, and then we’ll spend the rest of the time making a hand-built clay project. When you’re done building, we’ll have time to paint your piece! Then, we’ll fire your piece in our kiln.

Time: 2 hours

Project: Try throwing at the potter’s wheel & use 1.5 pounds of clay to hand build a Pinch Pot mug. Keep and paint your hand-built piece!
