Clay Day – Juniors

Junior Clay Days at TDBA is designed for kids ages 8-12 to make art with clay! You’ll drop them off for an hour and a half of fun with our artist instructors! An instructor will be with them the entire time.

They’ll get a turn at the potter’s wheel to see what throwing clay is all about, and then we’ll spend the rest of the time making a hand-built clay project. We will fire the hand-built clay project in our kiln. Come back at your convenience to paint your project, or stay with your child after the Clay Day session is over to finish painting the same day!

Time: 1.5 hours

Project: Try throwing at the potter’s wheel & use 1 pound of clay to hand build a Pinch Pot dog or other animal! Keep and paint your hand-built piece!
