Classes are on the following dates: November 14, 21, 28, 4:30-6:00pm each day.
This class is for Children (age 10 – 15). Children must be able to reach pedal while holding self upright, and be able to multi-task.
Do you have a desire to try the potter’s wheel, or want a new hobby? Have you taken ceramics in high school and wanted to try it again? Saw pottery videos on TikTok or YouTube and want to give it a try? Do you just want a new adventure? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this 3-week class is for you!
Our Pottery classes are step-by-step, led by an instructor the entire time. After this class, you’ll be ready to work on pottery all on your own – you’ll be exposed to the whole ceramic process.
Learn how to make bowls (wide pieces), cylinders (tall pieces), plates (flat pieces), and how to pull handles and attach them to make mugs.
Since the classes are small, no more than 4 people, we can go through the class at your pace and give you 1 on 1 attention.
This class runs on the same day for 3 weeks in 1.5-hour sessions.
You won’t need to bring or buy anything for class – your ticket includes all the tools and clay you’ll need. Your ticket also includes 3 pieces of yours to keep – if you have more than 3 pieces that you’d like to fire, we charge $10 per pound for the extras.
** We will glaze your pieces to a beautiful natural clay finish.
Ask us about other painting options!
All glazed pottery will be food safe and waterproof.
Call or text 440-879-8033 with questions or come into the studio to check it out! We look forward to creating with you!
Due to the nature of the class, we cannot offer make-ups or refunds for missed sessions. Please talk to your instructor about scheduling a self-guided practice session.
Any pottery left at the studio must be picked up within 30 days of texted ready notice; after 30 days TDBA reserves the right to donate, repurpose, sell, or remove the piece.
