Beginner / Semi-Beginner 4-Week Pottery Wheel Class, Start 11/5

November 5 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

$200.00

Classes are on the following dates: November 5, 12, 19, 26,  5:30pm-7:30pm all dates. This class is for ages 16+.

Do you have a desire to try the potter’s wheel, or want a new hobby? Have you taken ceramics class and wanted to try it again or learn more? Saw pottery videos on TikTok or YouTube and want to give it a try?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this 4-week class is for you!

Our Pottery classes are step-by-step, led by an instructor the entire time. After this class, you’ll be ready to work on pottery all on your own – you’ll be exposed to the whole ceramic process.

Learn how to make bowls (wide pieces), cylinders (tall pieces), plates (flat pieces), and how to pull handles and attach them to make mugs. — A complete dish set!

The class size is small (up to 4 students) so we can go through the class at your pace and give you 1 on 1 attention.

You won’t need to bring or buy anything for class – your ticket includes all the tools and clay you’ll need, and 4 fired pieces to keep (you can purchase more pieces to keep if you’d like to keep more).

All glazed pottery will be food safe, waterproof, and dishwasher safe (top rack)! Clear glaze is included for a beautiful natural clay finish.

This class is also great to repeat, or for those who would like a refresher to expand on the basics.

Call or text 440-879-8033 with questions or come into the studio to check it out! We look forward to creating with you!

Due to the nature of the class, we cannot offer make-ups or refunds for missed sessions. Please talk to your instructor about scheduling a self-guided practice session.

BEST PREP FOR CLASS:

  • Your own apron or “clay clothes” will help! We have aprons for those who want them. Consider your shoes for comfort and that you might get clay on them.
  • The shorter your nails, the better. (You can have acrylic nails, but they make it more difficult.)
  • Leave the jewelry at home or bring something to put it in! NO dangling bracelets allowed.
  • Long hair will need to be pulled back.

(Please call or come into the store if you’re having trouble purchasing a ticket or would like to purchase your ticket with a gift card!)

This class requires 2 participants to run.
