Welcome to the world of abstract painting! Join us in this intermediate class to create an abstract acrylic painting with a focus on brushtrokes, shapes, and lines.
(Ages 10+)
In two hours you will create a unique work of art! No two paintings will be the same — and that’s the point! Your instructor will be guiding the painting with prompts to help you fill out your canvas but it’s an anything-goes kind of painting.
This class is described as “intermediate” becasue we will not be creating from a reference, but rather from our hearts! It is helpful to have experience with acrylic paint and some basic knowledge of color, but not necessary. This class is welcome and open to all who wish to experiment and play to create something abstract — bring an open mind and your excitement to watch artwork come to life!
