4 Week – Week 1 Beginner Wheel Throwing Class

Always wanted to try, but never had the chance?  Took it up in high school and wanted to get back into it?  This 4 week class is designed to give you an overview of making pottery on the wheel.  It allows you learn step by step the process of what “throwing on the wheel” entails.  If you have already taken a class in high school, but haven’t put your hands on clay since, this will be a nice review class for you. If you’ve never tried it before you will be among friends. This class runs on the same day for 4 weeks in 2 hour sessions.  It includes 18 lbs of clay, a dedicated shelf for your pieces to dry and glazing of 4 finished pieces.  If you have more pieces you’ve finished an additional $8.00 will be added per piece for glazing beyond the 4 pieces. We also offer for customers who take this class to be able to “rent a wheel” to take home in between classes so you can practice.  You can rent it for $75.00 for the whole month.  3 available, first come first serve.
