4 Week 2 hours Beg Wheel class (Week 1)

Always wanted to try, but never had the chance?  Took classes in College or High School and wanted to get back into it?  This 4 week class is for you!

It’s designed to give you a chance to make pottery on the wheel and see what all the fun is about.  It allows you to learn step by step the process of what “throwing on the wheel” actually means.  If you have already taken a class in high school or college, but haven’t put your hands on clay since, this will be a nice “Let’s get back into it” class for you.

If you’ve never tried it before you will be among friends, as we go through each step at the pace of each student.  Since the classes are small, no more than 4 people, we are able to go through the class at YOUR pace.  Each week we try to make something different, so you get a chance to make a bowl, a cup with pulled handles, a plate and a cyclinder. This class runs on the same day for 4 weeks in 2 hour sessions.  If you can’t make a week, you can schedule a date to make it up.

Includes Clay, dedicated space for your pieces to dry and glazing of 6 finished pieces.  If you have more than 6 pieces that you like to fire and glaze, we charge an additioanl $10.00.

We also offer for customers who take this class to be able to “rent a wheel” to take home in between classes so you can practice.  You can rent it for $75.00 for the whole month.  3 available, first come first serve.
